During the fourth day of our WCCL 2026, our campus was the setting for an intense day of workshops that brought together the international academic community to reflect on the central theme of this meeting: sustainable constitutionalism as a response to a constantly transforming world.

As part of the World Congress of Constitutional Law (WCCL2026), Externado University of Colombia became the epicenter of profound legal and historical reflections yesterday.

With an academic agenda of high technological impact and a massive international participation, our House of Studies initiated the day of workshops of the third day of the World Constitutional Congress.

The World Congress of Constitutional Law (WCCL 2026) continues with its academic agenda in the Externado. During the day of the 7th of July, international experts and magistrates decided to analyze the contemporary challenges of constitutional justice, detaching the panels dedicated to the role of the courts in the upper courts and the Venezuelan institutional crisis.

Keynote lectures, plenary sessions, workshops, academic meetings and hundreds of conversations have brought to life the first days of the World Congress of Constitutional Law at Externado.

Democracy, artificial intelligence, and populism were the focus of debate on the first day of workshops at WCCL.

The first day of workshops at the World Congress of Constitutional Law brought together specialists from different countries to discuss the main challenges of contemporary constitutionalism.

The 1991 Constitution is a living work and a protector of human dignity.

The Constitutional Court and our University joined together to commemorate the thirty-fifth anniversary of the 1991 Political Constitution, an event of enormous institutional significance.
